In the time its taken the Earth to travel half-way around the Sun, one Good Guy has become a rising star on our dynamic Delivery Team.
Travis Pitsch joined the Good Guys Team six months ago, but he has the demeanor of a seasoned veteran.
Now, he’s earned himself the title of Good Guy of the Month.
As an integral part of our Delivery Department, Travis typically spends his days on local routes completing varying levels of furniture and appliance deliveries for families and businesses.
Driving is his favorite aspect of the job. Each day, he hits the open road with a truck full of items, all destined to put a smile on a happy customer’s face.
“I would say the most difficult items to deliver are things like ellipticals, ice machines, and cabinets,” Travis said.
He’s also delivered a handful of head-turning items like an 86″ TV and life-sized nutcrackers.
Travis has been a mainstay on our weekly route to the Blue Ridge region. But, he’s always keeping an eye out for more opportunities to stand out.
Delivery Manager Samuel Bennett praised Travis for his outstanding work ethic: “He’s always the first one here and one of the last people to leave. He’s the type of person that’s always asking for more work, which is great.”
That level of motivation has carried Travis to new markets such as Knoxville, Nashville, and Western North Carolina.
When he’s not inside of a delivery truck, he spends his time with his three babies — two kids and his motorcycle (a 125cc Honda Grom).
